Baga Beach is the king of all the beaches in Goa. It is the most happening beach of Goa. Baga beach, known as fishing beach, is situated between Colva beach and the Calangute beach. Baga is a small beach, 10 km west of Mapusa between the more famous Colva Beach on one side and Calangute on the other. The beach can be visited at any time of the year, though the monsoon months, which bring heavy rains, are best avoided. The period from November to February is the most pleasant.

Panaji is just 8 km away from Baga beach. You can take regular bus service from Panaji to Mapusa. Nearest railway station is Kamali, so you can also board a train to reach. If you want to go by road, take cars, cabs or two wheelers from Panaji, Airport and Mapusa as available.
