Just outside the former colonial capital of Old Goa, Chorao village
and Divar are two rather scenic islands. These are not frequented by
tourists, but head here to get a taste of the tranquil setting of
rural Goa. You can take a ferry to this place from the Ribandar-Old
Goa end. Each year after the monsoons a colourful bonderam (flag)
festival is celebrated over a couple of weekends on Divar Island.
