Varca, Fatrade, Cavelossim, Mobor
These beaches are part of the south Salcete coast, now home
to many upmarket hotel complexes, though moderate options
are also available. This is part of the Catholic heartland
of Goa, and the churches stand impressively in the midst of
coconut palms. The River Sal passes near Cavelossim and
Mobor, and creates some scenic views where it meets the
Arabian Sea.
