Betalbatim
On Betalbatim Beach, Martin's Beach Corner is rated highly
for its food and ambience. Official lore has it that the
restaurant was originally just a small shop where boys from
the locality would come to play a game of carrom or to have
a cold drink. As it gained popularity, Mrs. Martin started
to serve traditional Goan dishes like sorpatei, Goan sausage
bread and pork chilly fry. This grew to four tables and is
now a full-fledged restaurant.
