Bogmalo
Bogmalo lies outside of Vasco, one of the few beaches in the
region. It is a 20-minute bus ride from the port town. A
small, sandy beach, it is known for water sports and some
interesting food. Bogmalo Beach has many accommodation
options including some bed-and-breakfast places and a large
hotel. It is barely a ten-minute ride from Goa's Dabolim
Airport. Its sea is believed to have a strong undercurrent,
so swimmers should be careful. Close to Bogmalo is the tiny
Hollant Beach, preferred by locals for picnics.
