Miramar
Panjim's closest beach, barely 3 km away, is now home to the
plush Marriott hotel with its sea-facing swimming pool.
There are other hotels and restaurants on this beach where
you can try fast food cooked in Mexican, Lebanese or
Mediterranean style. Also try the local Goan-style fast
food. Adjoining Miramar is the Panjim suburb of Campal,
known for its old-world homes. The Charles Correa-designed
Kala Academy is also located here.
